Magic Market Index for March 15th, Cabal Coffers is a great card but I find myself prioritizing it far less in this deck than I do in say my Toshiro list. What about a small zombie theme? The second game went well and was amusing as I curved out with a more voltron looking approach which was fun to see. Modern was created by Wizards of the Coast in the Spring of as a response to the increasing popularity of the Legacy format, which although popular proved difficult to access due to the high price of staple cards. These are various special releases that feature selected highlights throughout Magic’s history.

I still have 2 graveyard hate effects. I considered doing something similar blwckblade until I have more of a consistent issue with it I dont think its worth acting on. I hit Purpheros during his draw and he flashed in a Simulacrum with a Winding Canyons. I end up just curving 4x swamp in a row into Korlash in play. But if Bribery is something you see alot, I see where you’re coming from.
Of course by the time they hit 7 mana your graveyard will be stocked with goodies and they’ll probably grab something else.
This format consists of the most recent “Core Set” and the two most recent “Block” releases.
Korlash, Heir to Blackblade *Foil*
Purpheros had some good interactions and he quickly kor,ash each player for 20 damage or so. I have the Pestilence effect up too which is going to do 5 damage to him this turn as well as defend my planeswalker from him. I found my removal but my draw wasn’t very good and I struggled to get the lands to really be able to do much for big actions here.
korladh The second game went well and was amusing as I curved out with a more voltron looking approach which was fun to korlahs. So, overall the deck did well.
Card is Out of Stock: This deck just has very little creature abuse as its not the goal of this list. I tried tutoring for an Oblivion Stone but I didnt have the mana for it so I ended up hemeraging some life drawing cards and tutoring.
Its possible later given some of these changes to re-evaluate one of these later. An indestructible Thrashing Wumpus seems very nice.
The Mind Stone gives me a little bit of ramp that can also serve as draw later if need be. You can give Korlash fear with Profane Command and it’s a drain effect. I slowly roll my way koelash 6 mana and drop Kothophed, Soul Hoarder who starts slowly drawing me some cards.
Krenko used his goblin bombardment to finish the sidisi player which was an odd move considering I had tons of life and was setting him back to no board state but had a problem with the mill.
What decks are you playing against? The almost being milled out was a bit surprising as both Sidisi and Mina and Denn both used eldrazi to shuffle their decks and make it a non issue for them. Having 3 haste outlets as well in deck also sort of bodes well for these annihilate guys. There were a few miscalculations made on my end.
Liliana of the Dark Realms seems like a great fit with Korlash.

At that point, you may heirr tossing a power creature at someone and that is going to make a dent or outright kill them. He swings and kills the Progenitus player and spot removes my warhammer. With all the destroy effects Grim Return might have a spot here. The game sort of stalls like this for some time with most everyone worrying about Angus’ walkers we manage to sort of 3v1 him and keep them manageable. Also a mana doubler korlashh finisher Nirkana Revenant.
Korlash, Heir to Blackblade *Foil*
I also went on to play 2 other games because people were getting a little irritated with me lol. Thawing Glaciers also works with Rings, but it’s slow. Perhaps not necessary since you’re already running Batterskull and Klrlash Warhammer We got to the point where he was going to kill us all the next turn and the Jori player dropped and popped an Oblivion Stone to keep him from killing both of us.
